Penguin Poem
During the long days of the
Summer solstice, Penguins slide on
The icy terrain of Antarctica
The Emperor waddles and squaks,
While the King Penguin flops
The yellow-eyed penguin is cautious
Of its territory
Chasing anyone away with fury
The little blue penguin burrows
Careful not to get eaten by a big predator
It waddles in colonies along
The rocky beach
Along comes a leopard seal
It decides to reach
For a harmless little
Penguin
Plummeting into the water
Eggs
Ninety miles an hour
Gross regurgitation
Unique animals
Iconic animals
Nests made of rocks and bones
South of the equator
