Marjorie Moorhead

Marjorie Moorhead writes from NH/VT border. Her poetry is included in several anthologies, including A Change of Climate (2017, edited by Sam Illingworth and Dan Simpson, benefiting the Environmental Justice Foundation), and Birchsong: Poetry Centered in VT. Vol.II (2018, edited by Alice Wolf Gilborn, et al. The Blueline Press). Her poems are published in sites or journals from Indolent Books, Rising Phoenix Review, Sheila-Na-Gig, Tiny Seed Literary, to The Poetry Box, and more. Marjorie’s poem, “Me,” will be performed in a choral work commissioned from Kim Andre Arnesen. Her chapbook, Survival: Trees, Tides, Song, launches from Finishing Line Press (2019). Marjorie writes with 4th Friday Poets, and WISE women writers. She will be honing her craft at FAWC, Provincetown MA, thanks to a tuition scholarship from Indolent Books.
