Nature
I lay down to look up at the trees
And feel the little breeze
I hear the birds sing their song
And try to hum along
I feel the grass tickling
In its gentle little way
I lie still
There’s a rabbit hopping by
It sniffs
Pointing up to the blue sky
And at night when I lay in bed
I hear the crickets buzz through my
Head
I wake up and see the moonlight on my floor
Then creep downstairs and see it seeping through the
Front door
I stop onto the porch
And feel the cool summer breeze
I see the trees sway
And the birds tweet
And I say to myself
Nature is so
Sweet!
And at the beach I hear the
Sweet song of the sea
And on a winter day
Clear sky whispering wind
Everyone is asking
When will spring begin
And when it does
Flowers bloom
The birds will be arriving
Very very soon
That night I lay down
To look up at the moon
And I can only think of
One thing to say
Nature is so cool!
